A New Voice for House of Numbat
We are pleased to announce the forthcoming first issue of The House of Numbat Journal, a new
publication from our British Design House in Norfolk, England.
Bringing together fashion, art, craftsmanship, publishing and cultural preservation, the Journal will
provide a home for the ideas, research and creative work that shape House of Numbat.
More than a record of our activities, it will be a place for independent thought, considered observation
and meaningful conversations about design and material culture.
Our first issue is planned for publication before Christmas 2026.
What to Expect
The inaugural issue will explore British style, the value of craftsmanship, the relationship between art
and clothing, and the importance of preserving creative knowledge.
It will introduce new perspectives from Numbat Studio, Numbat Art and Numbat Books, alongside
selected research and stories from the Veronika Guardi Archive.
Through original essays, visual studies, archival material and future guest contributions, we hope to
create a publication that readers will return to long after its publication.
A Publication to Keep
The Journal will be conceived as a carefully designed, collectible publication, available in print and
digital formats.
Each issue will contribute to the growing House of Numbat Library, alongside our books on fashion,
British style, responsible design and craftsmanship.
We believe that ideas deserve time, attention and a permanent home.
The House of Numbat Journal is our commitment to giving them one.
