House of Numbat is an independent, family-led British design house bringing together fashion, professional design services, art, publishing and creative heritage.
Our story began with textile engineering and clothing manufacturing. Today, that experience continues through original collections, consultancy for fashion businesses, research, books and the preservation of the life and work of designer Veronika Guardi.
We believe that good design begins with knowledge, grows through craftsmanship and gains value through use.

Drawing on decades of family experience in textile engineering, garment manufacturing and product development, Numbat Studio offers structured services covering business discovery, brand positioning, collection design, production preparation, launch planning and business development.
We also undertake selected bespoke fashion design projects.

Numbat Fashion develops clothing inspired by British style, considered silhouettes and the knowledge of making garments.
Our forthcoming limited collection is being developed for small-scale production at House of Numbat in Norfolk, England.
Rather than following every passing trend, we aim to create clothing that customers can wear, enjoy and return to.

Numbat Art explores the relationship between textiles and contemporary art.
Our work includes the Textile Abstraction Series, inspired by fabric, surface and craftsmanship, alongside the Veronika Guardi Signature Series of selected archival fine art prints, subject to the relevant reproduction rights.

THE VERONIKA GUARDI ARCHIVE
Preserving a Life and Creative Legacy
Fashion designer Veronika Guardi (1989–2023) was part of our family and our history in clothing.
Through the family-led Veronika Guardi Foundation initiative and the developing Veronika Guardi Archive, we preserve selected surviving sketches, writings, documents and memories relating to her life and professional work.
Our purpose is to preserve her story truthfully, for her children and future generations.
